We are excited to safely welcome you back to experience A World of WOW at Atlanta's Science and Nature Experience, highlighted by 75 acres of outdoor nature adventures in WildWoods and Fernbank Forest.
Fernbank is open daily from 10am to 5pm. Timed tickets must be purchased in advance and are available at a limited capacity to keep guests safe. Fernbank Forest closes one hour earlier each day and evening. The Giant Screen Theater is open weekends and during major holiday breaks.
Evening hours are available the 2nd Friday of every month during Fernbank After Dark and during select special events. Admission tickets will only be available for ages 21+ during these special, limited capacity evening events.
Some hands-on experiences will remain closed temporarily. We've reduced capacity to allow for physical distancing and have expanded our hours to allow for more access. Visit the Calendar of Events for up-to-date information on daily offerings.
Timed tickets are available from 10am to 3pm (last entry at 4pm). ALL guests (members and non-members) must reserve their tickets in advance. Your hourly admission ticket allows you to arrive during the ticket window you choose at the time of purchase. You must arrive within this hour to ensure ample room for physical distancing.
The Museum Store and the Fernbank Café are available with modified operations to provide a low-contact experience. The Museum Store will offer curated inventory, allowing you to select items without entering the store, as in-store browsing is temporarily suspended. The Fernbank Café is offering new Grab & Go concessions, available in the Great Hall.
Credit/debit cards are the only forms of payment accepted.
Fernbank Museum of Natural History strives to be accessible to everyone. To allow elevator access to those with physical needs, we ask that you temporarily leave strollers at home as a way to reduce elevator demand. If you have suggestions on how to make the museum more accessible, please contact us at Guest.Services@FernbankMuseum.org.
