Fernbank’s volunteer program is an opportunity for adults of all ages to be directly involved in museum operations, interpretation and more. Adult volunteers must commit to 50 hours of service annually. Learn more.

The Fernbank Youth Interpreter (FYI) program is an opportunity for youth ages 13-17 to be directly involved in public events and education at Fernbank Museum. FYI volunteers must commit to the program for a minimum of one year and provide a minimum of 45 hours of service to the museum. Learn more.

In addition to joining the amazing Fernbank team, you'll receive complimentary admission to the museum and Giant Screen Theater films, earn guest passes for hours of service, participate in ongoing educational opportunities and receive invitations to special volunteer events.
