Journey into the zen-like, magical worlds of nature in Fernbank’s outdoor, nighttime experience, WildWoods: AGLOW.
Included with after-hours museum admission, WildWoods: AGLOW is a multi-sensory experience that immerses visitors into the mesmerizing wonders of nature through a blend of the real environment and glowing displays, uniquely curated to highlight the native flora and fauna within WildWoods.
WildWoods: AGLOW uses dramatically artistic, glowing scenes and original music compositions to immerse guests into a nighttime wonderland of biodiversity. Highlights include an interactive tulip poplar pod, projections of nocturnal wildlife, glowing native plant species, larger-than-life incandescent mushrooms and more. New this year, guests will discover large dandelions, fluttering dragonflies, swarming bat displays, glowing garden towers and more along the boardwalk.
Unlike anything else in Atlanta, WildWoods: AGLOW is a family-friendly event except when the experience coincides with Fernbank After Dark (adults-only science nights) on Nov. 8, Dec. 13, Jan. 10 and Feb. 14.

Museum at Night
Experience the full museum after-hours during WildWoods: AGLOW. Defy gravity in Fantastic Forces, escape to an indoor treehouse in NatureQuest, discover expressions of people around the world in Reflections of Culture, travel across the state and into prehistoric environments in A Walk Through Time in Georgia, and walk beneath some of the world’s largest dinosaurs in Giants of the Mesozoic.
Special Exhibits*
Inside the museum, guests can enjoy Fernbank’s limited-time special exhibits, now included with WildWoods: AGLOW admission.* On select nights, guests can also enjoy a variety of hands-on activities.

Giant Screen Film
Find the wonder in the annual migration of millions of monarch butterflies in the giant screen movie Flight of the Butterflies, showing exclusively during WildWoods: AGLOW.
