Travel 20,000 years back to the Pleistocene Ice Age, when vast glaciers and sweeping grasslands dominated the landscape and ancient animals roamed in a harsh, unforgiving world.
Titans of the Ice Age follows Siberian baby woolly mammoth, Lyuba, and her herd as they search for food while facing predators like dire wolves and saber-toothed cats, along with hazards like hot springs and tar pits. Audiences will also journey into the present-day Northern Hemisphere where scientists study preserved mummies to learn how these animals lived and adapted, and how environmental change and human encroachment ultimately led to their extinction, and how early humans adapted to the icy conditions of our planet.
Titans of the Ice Age is an engaging, all-ages journey that explores paleontology, climate science and human evolution.
