Marching into Spring at Fernbank
ULTIMATELY OBSESSED — Ultimate Dinosaurs, the new special exhibit, is open and ready for you to step in and learn about the bizarre and fascinating dinosaur species that evolved in South America, Africa and Madagascar. Check out a variety of dinosaur skeletons, casts and fossils, some of which can even be enhanced by augmented reality!
PROMS AND PARTIES — Fernbank After Dark: Ultimate Time Explorers is March 14, taking those 21 and older back in time to explore science and culture, all with a cocktail in hand. Can't make it to Fernbank After Dark? Don't miss our Adult Prom: Masquerade, where mystery meets nostalgia on March 28 for a night under the dinosaurs!
ONE WITH NATURE — Fernbank is filling March with guided educational programs for everyone. Sign up for Turtle Quest on March 8 or Living Wild: Reptiles, Amphibians and Arachnids on March 15 to learn more about creatures you know and love. Guests are also invited to join us for a guided walk through Fernbank, whether it's a Wildflower Walk on March 15 or Morning Hike on March 23.
BRIDGING MYTH AND ART — Opening at the end of the month is Spirit Guides: Fantastical Creatures from the Workshop of Jacobo and María Ángeles. Immerse yourself in indigenous Mexican culture with these stunning sculptures found along the boardwalk in WildWoods.
