Science Explorers at Agape Youth and Family Center

Fernbank partners with Agape Youth and Family Center to provide underserved students in grades K-5 with high-quality interdisciplinary after-school programs. Using a curriculum that integrates both STEM and social-emotional learning approaches, Fernbank instructors provide stimulating hands-on learning to engage students in a variety of science topics. Included in the program are visits from our “Fernbank on the Go!” mobile museum and a field trip to experience Fernbank’s exhibits, Giant Screen Theater and outdoor spaces. Science Explorers is free of charge to all students.
