2025 Spring Break Camp

You’re invited to explore a world of science and nature with Fernbank’s Spring Break Camp for ages 5 - 13. Enroll your camper into a world of STEAM fun! Under the guidance of Fernbank educators, campers will perform experiments, play games and more.

Registration Dates: Registration opens on Monday, Jan. 13, 2025 at Noon EST. 

Camper Age Requirement: All campers must be at least 5 years of age by the time of their camp session. 

Cost: $330 for members; $380 for non-members.

Hours: Fernbank’s Spring Break Camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Extended Care: Extended care is available as early as 8:15 a.m. and as late as 5:30 p.m. each week. Extended care is $100 for the week. Single-day extended care rates are not available.

Cancellation and Refund Policy: All registrations include a $50 non-refundable fee.  Cancellations made before March 17, 2025, will receive a refund, excluding the $50 non-refundable fee. After March 17, 2025, no refunds will be issued.

If minimum enrollment is not met, we reserve the right to cancel a camp session and issue a full refund.

There are no partial refunds for missed camp days.

Spring STEAM Camp (Ages 5-13)

Spring STEAM Camp includes games, activities and crafts centered around the theme of each day. Themes include: 

• Tiny Chemistry: Step into the world of tiny chemistry, where junior scientists will make big discoveries. Campers will be able to explore and uncover the tiny secrets of science through hands-on fun.
• Entomology: Buzz into entomology day! Discover the fascinating science of entomology and learn about our smallest critters. From butterflies to beetles, every day is packed with hands-on activities and a chance to meet one of our smallest animal ambassadors.
• Middle Ages: Step back in time to the Middle Ages. Campers will engineer their own catapult and explore the chemistry of alchemy. Middle Ages Day is filled with history, adventure, and hands-on fun!
• Ultimate Dinosaurs: Ultimate Dinosaurs will be a roar-some adventure. Dig up fossils, learn about fierce carnivores and gentle giants, and uncover the secrets of prehistoric life. Campers will become junior paleontologists and learn more about the giants of the past.
• Astronomy: Blast off into Astronomy Day! Campers will uncover the mysteries of the universe as they explore stars, planets and galaxies. Campers will create constellations and launch rockets. It's a cosmic journey they won’t want to miss.
