2026 Spring Break Camp
April 6 – 10, 2026
You're invited to explore a world of science and nature with Fernbank’s Spring Break Camps for ages 5-10. Enroll your camper in a world of STEAM fun! Under the guidance of Fernbank educators, campers will perform experiments, play games and more.
Hours: Fernbank’s Spring Break Camp runs Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Extended Care: Extended care is available as early as 8:15 a.m. and as late as 5:30 p.m. each week. Extended care is $100 for the week. Single-day extended care rates are not available.
Cost: $330 for members; $380 for nonmembers.
Camper Age Requirements: All campers must be at least 5 years of age by the time of their camp session to attend Fernbank Spring Break Camp.
Cancellation and Refund Policy: All registrations include a $50 non-refundable fee. Cancellations made before March 27, 2026, will receive a partial refund; the $50 non-refundable fee will not be returned. After March 27, 2026, no refunds will be issued.
If minimum enrollment is not met, we reserve the right to cancel a camp session and issue a full refund.
Partial refunds will not be issued for missed camp days.
Content and Activities:
Each camp day has a theme for all games, activities, and experiments. This camp’s themes are:
- Bug Day: We'll explore the world of terrestrial invertebrates like insects, spiders, and more.
- Ice Age Day: Campers take a time trip to explore our planet’s most recent ice age.
- Space Day: Campers become astronauts for a day and discover outer space.
- Animal Architects Day: We’ll take a look at animals that “build” their habitats and inspire human engineering.
- Indigenous Americans: Campers will explore the pre-contact civilizations of North, Central, and South America.
Themes may not be presented in this order and are subject to change without notice.
