Join us for special activities relating to the Giant Screen Theater film, Cities of the Future. Activities from Noon to 3 p.m. are included in General Admission. The lecture is free, but does require advance reservations.

Come check out the magic of plasma! Explore indoor lightning, jumping magnets and surprising colors at our drop-in tables.

Sit, wiggle, and jump your way through the states of matter! Join us for Science Story Time as we read “Solid, Liquid, Gas, Plasma” by David Adler. Recommended for ages 7 - 10.

Make a light-up circuit to take home and learn how engineers and scientists use their bright ideas to power a green future.

 

Plasma Power: Clean Energy for Cities of the Future
Frances Wood Wilson Foundation Theater, 1st Floor
4:30 - 6 p.m.

Join us for an evening lecture about the future of energy. Dr. Diem will discuss her research and the potential of fusion for clean, limitless energy and address challenges still-to-be-overcome before fusion power is ready to be a reality.
