Fernbank Museum's Summer Camps consist of week-long sessions for ages 5 to 12. Museum educators guide campers on explorations of the scientific world through a variety of hands-on experiences. Camps are age-specific, dates for each age group are listed below.
Registration: Online registration opens February 4 for members and February 11 for non-members. Registration is on a space-available basis and sells out quickly.
Cost: Week-long camps are $300 for members; $350 for non-members. A special 3-day camp will be available for 8 – 10 year old campers from July 1 – July 3. This camp is $210 for both members and non-members.
Hours: Camp runs from 9am to 4pm every day.
Before and After Care: Before Care is available 8am – 9am at no additional cost. After Care is available until 5:30 pm for an additional $15/day or $60/week. After Care for the short week is $15/day or $40/week. Your child must be signed up for the full week of After Care to receive weekly rates.
Cancellation policy: After May 24, 2019, no refunds will be issued. Exceptions may be made for documented medical reasons. A $50 non-refundable administrative fee will be charged for all cancellations.

Fernbank Ranger Camp (Ages 10 – 12)
Featuring hands-on activities including tree measuring, water quality testing and aquatic species surveys. Campers learn about forest ecosystems, biodiversity and native plants and animals in Fernbank Forest. This camp takes place primarily in Fernbank’s outdoor areas.
