An inspirational film for all ages, “Blue Whales: Return of the Giants,” follows two major scientific expeditions that set out to uncover crucial data about the nearly extinct blue whale’s journey to recovery.

Audiences travel to Mexico’s Gulf of California to meet biologist Diane Gendron, the “Blue Whale Whisperer”, as she and her team embark on a mission to explore the important role these remarkable animals play in the ocean ecosystem. Then venture across the globe, to the islands of Seychelles in the Indian Ocean, to join a team of scientists on a high-risk mission, in search of a missing population of blue whales that haven’t been seen in 50 years.

In this awe-inspiring film, viewers hear the booming vocal calls between blue whales as they communicate with one another across hundreds of miles, witness the tender bond between a mother and calf, learn about the extraordinary “Whale Pump” that continues to rejuvenate our oceans today and more.
