Join Dr. Dennis Blanton as he discusses elusive archaeological evidence of the first European into Georgia’s Native American realms. The presentation will explain the outcome of two long-running research projects in southern Georgia, both sponsored by Fernbank Museum, that have recovered rarely found glass beads and iron tools left by the infamous conquistador, Hernando de Soto.
