Parking: The Museum has 371 complimentary parking spots located directly on the property. Handicapped parking is available.

Accessibility: Fernbank Museum is accessible to people with disabilities. A limited number of wheelchairs are available free of charge. Elevator service is available.

Maps: Visitor Guides, that include a complete map of the Museum, are available at the greeter's station or at the ticket sales counter.

Getting Around: Fernbank Museum is equipped with a passenger elevator. We ask that student groups use the elevators only in cases of physical need or to transport lunches.

Strollers: Strollers are permitted inside exhibitions unless otherwise noted. For safety reasons, strollers are not allowed in the IMAX® Theatre. When space permits, strollers may be left with the volunteer greeters at the main entrance in the lobby. Fernbank Museum is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

The Fernbank Café: Enjoy delicious deli-style sandwiches, soups, pizzas, kids’ meals and more in this spacious dining area featuring a spectacular view from the Fernbank Forest overlook. The Fernbank Café is located on the Lower Level and is open Monday-Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, noon to 4 p.m. Show your membership card and save 10%!

Shopping: Looking for the perfect item to commemorate your visit? Fernbank’s Museum Stores offer a wide variety of gifts for young and old alike. The main store is located on the Entry Level and an exhibition store is located within the special exhibition gallery on the Lower Level. Show your membership card and save 10%!

Methods of Payment: Fernbank Museum accepts cash, all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) and checks (valid ID required). An ATM is located on Entry Level, near the restrooms and lockers.

IMAX® Info: Films last about 45 minutes each. We recommend arriving at least 20 minutes prior to your film start time in order to park and pick up tickets before the film begins. Click here for show times.

Lost and Found: If you misplace something during your visit, ask a volunteer or security guard to direct you to Lost and Found, located in the administration office on Entry Level. Unclaimed items will be donated to charity after 30 days.

First Aid: If you require first aid during your visit, please ask the nearest security officer for assistance.

Lockers: Personal items such as umbrellas, book bags and/or coats may be stored in lockers located on the Entry Level, near the restrooms. Fernbank Museum is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Telephones: Courtesy telephones are located at the information desk in the lobby and in the administration office at the reception desk. As a courtesy to fellow guests, please turn off all cell phones and pagers when in the IMAX® Theatre and when touring exhibition halls.

Photography: Photographic reproduction of Fernbank Museum or its exhibitions is limited to personal use only. All commercial uses are prohibited without previous written agreement. Photography is not permitted in certain exhibitions or any areas designated “No Photography,” including the IMAX® Theatre.
