Create an ornament unique to you by imprinting natural items onto clay.

Enjoy a special visit from Fernbank’s holiday mascot, Santa-saurus.

Winter Wonderland Seek and Find
10am – 5pm, Entry and Upper Levels
Use this self-guided activity as you explore the displays of Winter Wonderland. See if you can match the photos to the displays. A great activity for families.

Winter Wonders

Join Fernbank educators for a variety of winter-themed crafts.

A Charlie Brown Christmas
10:30am and 1:30pm, Frances Wood Wilson Foundation Theater
Get in the holiday spirit with this Peanuts classic as Charlie Brown and friends discover the real meaning of the holiday. (Limited seating)

Tadpole Tales
11:30am, Naturalist Center
Preschoolers will enjoy a story and special activity with a Fernbank educator featuring Hibernation Station by Michelle Meadows and illustrated by Kurt Cyrus.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas
12:30pm, Frances Wood Wilson Foundation Theater
Enjoy Dr. Seuss’ heart-tickling tale featuring a grumpy hermit who hatches a plan to steal Christmas from the Whos of Whoville. (Limited seating)

*Activities subject to change without notice. Films will be presented in Fernbank’s Frances Wood Wilson Foundation Theater and not in the Giant Screen Theater.

Holiday Hours Notice: Fernbank Museum will be closed Thursday, November 23 for Thanksgiving and Monday, December 25 for Christmas. On Sunday, December 31, 2017, Fernbank Museum will open at 12:30pm due to the Museum’s ticketed family event, Noon Year’s Eve. The Giant Screen Theater resumes its normal schedule at 1pm.
