What We Do
FUN volunteers staff the discovery carts in the Great Hall at Fernbank Museum teaching Museum visitors about dinosaurs, ancient sea life and archaeology. FUN volunteers also participate in UrbanWatch Atlanta as “eco-helpers,” assist with special family event days, assist with weekend and other educational programming, and attend educational and social events.
Get Involved
Volunteering with FUN is open to all youth between the ages of 12-17. We will accept applications for 2011 in early spring. Stay in touch by signing up for Fernbank’s e-news and receive information about the 2011 FUN program. Please connect with the museum through our e-newsletter to be among the first to find out when we’re accepting applications for new FUN volunteers.
