Hourly pricing per person is also available. Please ask an event coordinator for additional pricing options.
Labor
We require one bartender for every 75-100 guests, at a fee of $25 an hour, per bartender, with a 5-hour minimum. Bar service requires an additional hour both before and after the event for set-up and breakdown. If you select a cash bar, you will also need one barback per two bartenders at the same labor fees listed above. Fernbank also offers wine passing for receptions. Please contact an event coordinator for more information.
Additional Beverage Options
At your request, we will offer martinis and cordials for $7 per glass. House champagne is also available at $5 per glass. We will gladly assist you with special ordering any liquor, beer, wine or champagne not on the standard beverage list.
Beverage Minimums
There is a beverage minimum of $3000 for all Saturday evening events as well as Friday evening events in December. The beverage minimum is based on consumption only and does not include labor charges, an 18% service charge or 7% sales tax.
Outside Beverages
Beverages that an outside caterer may provide are limited to: hot/cold tea, coffee, non–alcoholic punch and ice water. The Georgia State Liquor Commission regulates the sale and service of all alcoholic beverages. As a licensee, the Museum is responsible for the administration of these regulations. Therefore, Fernbank must supply all alcoholic beverages. No outside alcoholic beverages are allowed.
