Giving Societies

Distinguished members of the Giving Societies provide critical resources toward the presentation of special exhibitions, IMAX® films and cultural and science enrichment programs directly serving a half-million families and children through unrestricted gifts to the Annual Fund. By joining one of the Giving Societies, you are building the legacy of Fernbank's founders who led the effort to preserve Fernbank Forest as a school in the woods for nature study, which today is realized through Fernbank Museum.

Discovery Society

Discovery Society recognizes donors who make annual unrestricted gifts of $2,500 to $4,999. Members receive:

  • Unlimited access to the Museum for you and your family
  • Recognition on a donor panel in special exhibitions
  • Invitation for two to attend a Giving Society event featuring a world-renowned scientist
  • Invitation for two to attend a private leadership event hosted by Fernbank's President and Chief Executive Officer

  • Invitation for six to attend the annual premiere of Winter Wonderland: Celebrations & Traditions Around the World
