See Fernbank Forest as never before through this collection of more than 50 full-color photographers by award-winning National Geographic photographer, Peter Essick.
Over the course of 2 years, Essick photographed the majestic old-growth forest through its cyclical changes—documenting leaves turning from green to orange, birds nesting and migrating, rain saturating trees with color, vistas expanding and the ecosystem existing in constant motion.
Fernbank Forest: Designed by Nature features breathtaking views from above the canopy, close-up stills of beautiful forest specimens (including trout lilies, eastern bluebirds and salamanders,) as well as the forest’s diverse and varying seasonal landscapes.
Cost: Included with Museum admission. Members free.
