Opens February 14, 2009

Take a journey of discovery into the exciting world of modern paleontology!

With new technology, paleontologists are reinterpreting many of the most persistent and puzzling mysteries of the dinosaurs—how they looked, how they behaved, how they moved—and ultimately, the complex and hotly debated theories of why non-avian dinosaurs became extinct. This interactive exhibition features an amazing array of fossil specimens and fossil casts, from a well-preserved Bambiraptor feinbergi fossil to a walking, mechanical T. rex.

This exhibition is organized by the American Museum of Natural History, New York, in collaboration with the Houston Museum of Natural Science; California Academy of Sciences, San Francisco; The Field Museum, Chicago; and North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, Raleigh.

Media support is sponsored locally in part by the Georgia Department of Economic Development.
