Don’t miss this special programming area located within Ends of the Earth to further explore the Polar Regions and their animal residents through a variety of books, puzzles, activities and more.

Self-guided activities include:

  • Dramatic play that allows guests to experience how male penguins incubate their eggs and how polar bears’ feet allow them to walk across ice and snow without slipping.
  • Mystery boxes encourage visitors to reach inside and explore the multiple adaptations animals use to stay warm in sub-freezing climates.
  • Wall-mounted matching games test visitors on what they’ve learned in the exhibition including which animals live at each pole and in which eco-system are they best adapted for survival.
  • A variety of Inuit games that bring a piece of Arctic culture to visiting families.

Education Alley is presented by Atlanta Gas Light, an AGL Resources Company, and The Coca-Cola Company.
