Join us for special activities, performances, crafts, games and more, presented in honor of the holiday-inspired special exhibition Winter Wonderland.
Activities for Sunday, November 18
Winter Wonderland Seek and Find
Noon – 5pm, Entry and Upper Levels
Use this self-guided activity as you explore the displays of Winter Wonderland. See if you can match the photos to the displays. A great activity for families! (Copies of the guide available at the greeter’s station. Please return guides as you are leaving.)
Train Rides*
Noon – 4pm, Dinosaur Plaza
Hop aboard Fernbank’s Santa-saurus Express train. Tickets are $3 for 1 ticket, or $10 for 4 tickets. *Weather permitting.
Holiday Photo Opportunities
Noon – 4pm, Lobby
Commemorate your visit with a special Fernbank holiday photo. Choose from a variety of backgrounds and have your photo printed on-site. Photos are $20 each.
Roaming Santa-saurus
Noon – 4pm, Great Hall
Be on the lookout for Fernbank’s NEW dinosaur mascot, Giggy A. Dinosaur. He’ll be making special appearances dressed up as Santa-saurus.
Apu Inka

Listen and dance to the sounds of traditional Peruvian music.
Santa-saurus Ornaments

Create your own Fernbank Santa-saurus ornament to take home with you.
Mabuhay Atlanta Dancers
Brought to you by the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Philippines

Watch as dancers perform the National Dance of the Philippines, “The Tinkling.”
Atlanta Ballet’s Nutcracker Ensemble

Enjoy short pieces from Atlanta Ballet’s Nutcracker and other holiday favorites performed by the students from Atlanta Ballet’s Centre for Dance Education.
Atlanta Junior Ceili Band of The Atlanta Irish Music School

Cost: Unless noted, all Winter Wonderland Celebration Weekend activities are included with Museum admission and are free for members.
