Winter Wonderland Celebration Day

Saturday, November 22 from 10am – 2pm

Enjoy a special day of cultural- and holiday-themed performances and activities inspired by Winter Wonderland.

Roaming Santa-saurus
10am – 2pm, Great Hall
Be on the lookout for Fernbank’s mascot, Giggy A. Dinosaur, making special appearances dressed up as Santa-saurus.  

Winter Wonderland Seek and Find
10am-5pm, Entry and Upper Levels
Use this self-guided activity as you explore the displays of Winter Wonderland. See if you can match the photos to the displays. A great activity for families!
Copies of the guide available at the greeter’s station. Please return guides as you are leaving.

Atlanta Ballet’s Nutcracker Ensemble
10:30am and 12:30pm, Great Hall
Enjoy short pieces from Atlanta Ballet’s Nutcracker and other holiday favorites performed by the students from Atlanta Ballet’s Centre for Dance Education.

Chien Hong School of Kung Fu
11:30am and 1:30pm, Great Hall
Enjoy a presentation featuring traditional Chinese Lion dances, history and culture.

Apu Inka
2pm, Great Hall
Enjoy mystical Andean songs and enchanting compositions during this cultural performance.
