Genghis Khan founded the 13th century Mongol Empire, ultimately controlling the largest contiguous landmass the world has ever known. Join Dr. Timothy May for insights into what made them successful empire-builders and how that has impacted the modern world.  

Dr. May is the Professor of Central Eurasia and Middle Eastern History at North Georgia College and State University. He is the author of the The Mongol Art of War, Culture and Customs of Mongolia, and most recently The Mongol Conquests in World History. Dr. May provided expertise as a consultant to the Genghis Khan exhibition development team.
